Chapters 1 and 2 were pretty much an overview of what we have learned that GIS can do. It mention we actually got to get to play around with GIS in the tutorial. We traced Earhart and Noonan’s flight around the world and saw where it ended over the pacific near the Philippians. I thought this part of the tutorial was fun for we finally got to play with the software and are becoming familiar with it.
